For girls born in 2002 and 2003. In the Softball program, girls may “play up” to the next level with permission from the VP of Softball. Girls may not play down, except in cases of developmental or physical disability.

Our 14U League is a combined League with our neighbors, River Forest Youth Baseball/Softball. Girls wishing to play should register with their “home” league and pay the respective fees to those organizations.

A joint Player Evaluation will be held in February 19, 2017 and February 26, 2017 at Concordia University where both Oak Park and River Forest players’ offense and defense skills will be evaluated by independent evaluators. The draft of these players will occur in late February/early March. All teams will have players from both villages. Girls playing Freshman High School Softball will be allowed to join teams upon completion of their high school season, provided that they have registered in a timely fashion. Teams will draft these high school players during the normal draft process.

All games will be played in River Forest at Keystone Park and Willard on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. This schedule allows travel club players to play House League and still practice with their Travel Club teams on the “House League Off Nights”.

14U uses a regulation 12” softball and adheres to United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) Official Fastpitch Rules & Bylaws with minor modifications. The pitching circle will be 43' from Home Plate.
