Play ball. Baseball or softball, our goal is to establish quality athletic, recreational and competitive programs with an emphasis on educating participants in the fundamentals of the game while promoting the values of sportsmanship and fair play. Through Oak Park Youth Baseball Softball, players and fans enjoy an atmosphere of fun and fellowship.
Since 2013 OPYBS players and coaches have been outfitted with jerseys and caps supplied by the Chicago White Sox; coaches and players have also received instruction from the Sox organization. Click here to see the original White Sox news release. Click here to see the OPYBS email.

OPYBS has developed a set of Safety Guidelines for players, volunteers and spectators that may reduce this risk, but the risk of serious illness and death still exists. Please note that participation and attendance at OPYBS events is voluntary and at your own risk. Contact safety@opybs.org with questions.
